How Do We Write Our Reviews?

When compiling a review we research the company first, sourcing information from previous customers, online review sites, blogs and many other reliable independent sources.

When reviewing a brand we look at:

  • Trampoline specification (i.e. number of springs, type and thickness of trampoline pads)
  • The brand history
  • The trampoline design and aesthetics
  • What size trampolines are available
  • Warranty
  • Safety features
  • Price
  • Assembly
  • Availabiltiy
  • Customer service

If you disagree with any of the reviews or would like to write an article yourself we welcome all comments and suggestions. Please email us at webmaster@trampolines4sale.co.uk

Top 10 Tips When Buying A Trampoline

  1. Shape

Decide what shape trampoline you need. Round trampolines are best for general family use as they allow for multiple users and produce a safer bounce. However, rectangular trampolines give a fantastic specialized powerful bounce which gives the ability to perform all tricks.
  2. Size

Although generally governed by the size and shape of your garden below is a few tips on helping you choose.

8ft: Great for a small child.

10ft: These provide a more powerful bounce than the 8ft trampolines, ideal for younger children.

12ft: A good size trampoline which will fit into most gardens.

14ft: Largest and most popular, provides stability and control for bouncer.
  3. Springs

When buying a trampoline the greater the length of spring and the more springs used means the trampoline will have a better bounce. On average a 12ft trampoline should have approx 70 x 7inch springs.
  4. Trampoline Pads

These are the pads which lie on the edge of the trampoline covering the springs. The thicker a trampoline pad the safer and more durable it is.
  5. The Frame

Welded trampoline frames are often weaker and prone to breaking on the weld joints. Extra welded sheets will not give the protection a frame needs.
  6. Warranty

If possible look for trampolines which have a warranty, especially if you intend to spend over £200.
  7. Trampoline Jump Mat

This is the section which you jump on. It should be UV resistant and if possible have a V ring connection to the trampoline spring.
  8. Safety Net

This is important if you have young children. It provides a safe bouncing environment and can also give confidence to those wishing to practice tricks.
  9. Price

Compare the specification of different trampolines and choose the one which offers the highest spec for the lowest amount. Look at all brands, don't be fooled by thinking that the largest or most well known brand will offer the best deal. Shop around and if you find a trampoline you like ask if other companies will price match.
  10. Weight Limit

Check the maximum weight limit and if possible go for the highest available.
